Role Conflict

Role conflict is a clash between two or more of a person’s roles or incompatible features within the same role. These incompatibilities include differing expectations, requirements, beliefs, and/or attitudes. Sociologists recognize role conflict as conflict among the roles corresponding to two or more statuses.
